Malaysian Entertainment: Classic VS Nowadays

I've quit KYPJ last month. I decided to enroll in Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) in Kota Bharu instead. Well, maybe it's because of I like the course they offered better than KYPJ's; Diploma in Tourism. It might be more distant than KYPJ to my home, but... Oh well. This is the time to get more experiences, isn't it?

Okay! If you had already read the title, you must have known what I want to write today. MALAYSIAN ENTERTAINMENT: CLASSIC VS NOWADAYS.

If you had read my previous posts, you can guess how much I am into Japanese entertainments and Western/European. Because I'm not really into local entertainments which we called as "Buatan Malaysia (Made in Malaysia)" There are lots of reasons why I'm not interested in them.

However, I really love our classical movies, like around passed P. Ramlee's days. No matter how many times they were being showed on TV, I will never get bored with them. How much our passed P. Ramlee was genius in making movies...

Classic movies... They were full of secret and good messages. I can take a lot from classical movies as advices to let me continue my daily life.

Such as... Let's see...

Labu Labi! Yes, yes... One of my favorites of all time. This movie was really funny and I enjoy it no matter how many times I've been watching it.

Somehow it taught me on how we must stop dreaming once in a while. Dreaming is good, but don't let it ruin yourselves. That's what I thought when I watch this. Other than that, don't let love crushes your friendship. That's what I see, when Labu is willingly to steal his best friend Labi's bride, Manisah just because they were both in love with her since they started work at Hj. Bakhil's house.

Besides, I know that this movie is trying to say how we cannot be greedy, as it put that greed personality into  Labu and Labi's master; Hj. Bakhil. Anybody, whoever that watched this movie, and saw Hj. Bakhil, would say "Oh, we cannot be as greedy as Hj. Bakhil." That fact might sounds a little bit childish, but that's the truth.


Classical songs. I can't say the titles of the songs particularly, because I listened to them randomly on radio. So, I don't know the titles, but listened to them until the end. Because I can't help myself. I have to know what does it tries to convey.

Lots of classical songs give a lot of good messages. That's why there were songs in the movies. Lots of messages can be compacted into one song; directly or indirectly. There was a song which was coincidentally being played on the radio a few months ago. I listened to it, and it was about how our local women wore at the time. It tries to convey that our local women shouldn't do what Western people do, such as pull our eyebrows to trim it, wear tight outfits or wearing wigs.

Even though that song didn't say anything such as "Do something about it" directly, but it did say "What happened?" which means that we should do something about it.

And there were also a lot of other good messages in classical songs. That's why I love them very much.

And look at what happened to nowadays' Malaysian entertainments! They changed, but not all of them are good!

Have you ever watched Kapoww? Yes, yes... The Zizan Razak's one.

Okay, I need to get this Kapoww thing fast. I really hate this movie.

I think Kapoww is a very stupid movie. Um, hello, superheroes? Nowadays? Are you kidding me? Even though I don't watch Kamen Rider, but I think Kamen Rider is better. I'm not "not into" comedies, but if you're trying to make the whole movie into comedies, your movie is over. And the movie shouldn't be stupid comedies. This is not Indonesia, where they enjoy ridiculous comedies (no offense)!

Unless you're making high quality superheroes movies like Spiderman, Batman, etc...

And another thing that I hate about Kapoww is; look at those Astromans! Urghh!!! I don't even want to say that name out loud!

They look stupid. They're just a bunch of super-losers wearing Ultraman costumes! Even Atoi too! This movie was really making me sick! I just... Even though I only watch Ultramans in my childhood days, but still, wearing their costumes??? Isn't that just cosplaying in front of the camera??? Are you stupid??? Lack of idea, I guess...

However, there are also some movies that I really interested into. Umm... Zombi Kampung Pisang, I guess? That and Hantu Kak Limah Balik Rumah. Yeah, I like them. Even though they put comedies in the whole movie, but I don't think that they were stupid. They were spontaneously, and I love them. Like my dad says, "Nostalgic and classic".

They were village-themed, and very classic. I think that those kind of movies are geniuses, like I used to call to Mukhsin movie. Very classic, and bringing happiness when they made us think, "Ahh~ The good old days~". Isn't that fascinating?

Nowadays songs... Okay, I'm really done with local songs. 80 percents of Malaysian songs are love, heartbreak-themed, and sad songs. I tell you, I'm not interested in love songs. I'm not the kind of person who's calling a guy as "Sayang (Love)", even though he's my boyfriend. I only call that to my pet cat Toni.

And anyway, nowadays' Malaysian songs are resembled foreign songs. There are certain artists who are making their songs and MV to look like K-Pop's! I mean, stop copying! You are artists, isn't it create is what you do??? And also, there are some singers who modernized the classic songs, and I really hate them. Some people might thought that the modernized songs are good, but in my thought, they were really ruining the songs! (But maybe it's because I really hate hard rock, so that's why)

There are also songs that really gave that low self-esteemed thinking into those who sang it. Huh~ I really hate these kind of songs. I mean, if you're really that sad, can't you make a song which can motivate yourselves? If you're not the one who will motivate yourselves, then who else?

People sing, to entertain themselves whenever they feel bad. When they fell, they will do something. People like me will sing to motivate ourselves. But if the famous songs are low self-esteemed songs, how are we supposed to rise up again? Yeah, prayers. But what we say from our mouths are counted as prayers to, isn't it?

I'm not trying to badmouth my own country. That is not my intention. Actually, I'm very worried about my country's entertainments level. I'm not someone who has a high power in this entertainment world.

I'm not even an actress, a singer or whatever. I'm just an ordinary girl who is a fan of Arashi, and lots of other Japanese singers, who love to sing American/British/Japanese songs and love to watch Japanese dramas everyday online. I'm just a girl who love to write and draw, and learning new skills. That's all.

Well, I'm done. That is all I can do. I just hope that Malaysian entertainments could improve and... Well, what can I say? I actually love my own country.

K-POP VS J-POP

Starting today I won't apologize for being so long to not updating my blog. So, today's apologize will include the lateness in the future. Sumimasen~!

     Okay! Now let's go to our main topic today. K-POP VS J-POP. I've been thinking a lot about it lately. Now here, my dear fella's, I want to ask you something. Between these K-Celebrity and J-Celebrity, which one will you choose, and why?

Kim Hyun-joong (K-POP)  VS Yamashita Tomohisa (J-POP)

And between these K-Band and J-Band, which one will you choose, and why?

Big Bang (K-POP) VS Arashi (J-POP)

If you want my answer, then here it is; YamaPi and Arashi. I think that the answer is already crystal clear. YamaPi is my big crush and I am a big fan of Arashi. I even personally called Arashi's Matsumoto Jun as "Jun-nii", you know? (Nii is a call for older brother)

But that is my opinion. That is my taste.

However, that is not the main point of my post today. I bet that most K-Fans and J-Fans had met these kind of comparisons so many times before. So do I. Recently, actually. And I bet some of you 'goody-goody' fans are quite annoyed with these kind of comparisons. Me too.

In my opinion, those people who made "K-POP VS J-POP" videos are either K-Fans or J-Fans. If the K-Celebrity comes out first, then they're the K-Fans. And vice versa. I somehow understood the reasons behind the creation of these comparison videos. Either they want to show how much they underestimate J-Celebs (for K-Fans) or they want to see a war between K-Fans and J-Fans. Or they just want to show their  "I don't understand why you like them" kind of feelings.

Can't you see? People got their own kind of taste. There must be a reason of why they admire them so much. Like me, I got my own reasons of why I love YamaPi and Arashi.

I love Arashi. I really do. Very much. But I didn't judge them only by appearance and looks. I judged them by every aspects. Appearance, performance, chemistry, personalities, passion and talents. To be honest, Arashi got so many talents in their group! But I will probably explain them later.

However, I am absolutely not an anti-K-POP. There is also a reason why I chose Kim Hyun-joong and Big Bang in my comparison. You see, there was a year when I was also a K-Fan. In that year, Kim Hyun-joong was my crush (but not as BIG crush as YamaPi). And actually, 2 years ago, I was a fan of Big Bang, and my favorite member was Dae-sung. See? That's why I understood both sides.

That's why, I am quite pissed-off with some of the comments I read on "K-POP VS J-POP" videos on YouTube. 

Dear fella's, everybody got their own tastes and favorites. Please DO NOT say such thing as "K-POP are dirty - plastic surgeries" or "J-POP are uglies". Like, hello, to those who said "J-POP are uglies", most K-Celebs are plastics, okay?! 

See??? As a J-Fan, I am also VERY, SERIOUSLY pissed with that kind of comments. So what was actually your point of giving such comments??? To create a war??? For most of you, probably you would say "So what?" or "Like I care" or something like that, but understand this; what is your feeling when other people saying bad about your favorite celebs? Irritated, right? Annoyed, right? Pissed, right???

Fuhh~ Please excuse me for my rudeness...

So, dear fella's, please keep any bad-thinking about the celebs in your heart. If you're trying to say anything, just think "what if they said the same kind of thing about my idol?" Unless you say it in more proper way such as "IN MY OPINION, I dislikes K-POP because most of them had plastic surgeries" or "K-POP actors are more handsome than J-POP". See? That's not so bad after all, isn't it?

I am actually not that 'goody-goody', but I hate fighting. Especially if it's about something that actually a childish matter. If you don't understand why they admire that certain celebrities, don't hurt them with your badmouth. Instead, why don't you try collecting fun facts about your favorite celebrities and capture their heart? That is actually more fun, isn't it?

Okay! Now I'm already sleepy, and it is 2:44 AM already, I think I'm going to stop now. I actually wanted to finish Matsuda Shota's Meitantei no Okite episode 5, but with sleepy eyes, I don't think I can do it. I have a gift for you, so I'm going to put it down there. Second Boyfriend: Sayonara~

     Hola, mi amigos! Tehek~ Konban wa, minna~ How's the days? Time passed swiftly, huh? I understand... Oh, well!

     I got a new story! Remember about my previous post? Erm, erm... About the 'BOYFRIEND' thingy....? Huh, at last, we broke up! I'm the happiest person in the world! A little bit lonely, but you know, I'm already a loner, so I don't care about that so much~

     How and why did we broke up~? Geez, it's only a childish cause and story! Firstly, I bought a new phone number, so we can contact easier and cheaper. But, it came into different than what I've planned. He called me in about a week ago, and at the same time, I was messaging with an old friend, a boy friend. But, suddenly my ex-boyfriend asked me, "To whom are you messaging with?" I know that he was only guessing, but that question really freakying me up a little. 

     So, with pretending to be calm, I just answered, "With a friend. An old friend." But, you know, suddenly he asked me, "Is your friend a boy or a girl?"

     Again, with calm-pretending, I just answered, "A boy. He was an old friend of mine, and it have been so long that we haven't meet. But he's somebody else's boyfriend. He is my classmate's boyfriend." And of course, it's a truth. I'm not on guilt, so what should I be afraid of? That boy is my classmate's boyfriend, and they still are, so I'm totally NOTHING with him.

     But, instead, do you know what my ex said? He said, "Never mind, just go on continuing messaging with him. Never mind me."

     What?! What's up with that?! "Huh? Why is that?! He is only a friend, so why were you saying that?!"

     "Never mind me. Just go on messaging with your BOYFRIEND until you run out of your credits. I'm not that important."

     Huh?! Are you deaf or what?! I never said that boy is my boyfriend or anything, so why should you be jealous?! And I had already told you that the boy is my classmate's boyfriend! Urgh! I hate this kind of boy~

     "Huh?! Hello, why is that?! He is only a FRIEND, and he is my CLASSMATE'S BOYFRIEND! And anyway, why should you be jealous? You're not my husband~"

     "So what are we now? What is our relationship now?" And then, I kept silent. 'We're only couples! You're only my boyfriend!', that's what I wanted to answer, but my mouth remain silent. Geez, I hate guys like this. He's quite a troublesome! Pretty tiring to handle, seriously~

     And at last, we broke up on that very day! Right after we broke up, immediately I posted about it on Facebook. Hahaha~ Pretty naughty, huh? Ah, I don't care! I posted two posts to embarrassed him up, with the hope that he read it, too. And now, I'm posting it on my blog. 

     Anyway, he is such a liar. Who does he think I am, a part-time lover? He was only saying love words to me, but at last I knew that he never love me. He just love my junior, which is one of his ex-girlfriends! Well, that girl is not really MY junior, but she was my ex-roommate. She was my roommate two years ago, in her first year and my second year. But she's still MY junior's friend~ 

     But what I know, he is still love that junior. My junior told me the same thing, too. She said that our ex is still love her friend, but he always deny it. Poor guy~ He just chose the wrong person and wrong self-building, that's all~ If he choose to not to be a desperate person, he may have found a true love~

I'm Back~

Assalamualaikum.... Konban wa, minna! Huh~ Long time no see, huh? Sorry for the late updating! Nothing personal, alright? Hahaha~ Joking!
    Okay, I got so many stories to tell today. About my relationships (curious, huh?), my favourites, my life, and bla... bla... bla... So, just shush and read carefully but not emotionally, okay?
    First! MY RELATIONSHIPS. Haha, curious? Okay, I'll tell you. I never told you, but before, I got a boyfriend. Seriously, he was so much boring! Imagine that; he proposed me to be his gal, but he never tries to call me! I had once broke up with him, but one day we got together back. And you know what? He was still the same! But at that time, I was still have my patience. I called him, messaged him (even though at last I always got the replies 'I got no credit'!), remember his birthday... And do you know what do I get at last? He forgot my birthday! Only God knows how sad I am! And of course, I am at last broke up with him, again. Since that, I never contact with him again. And now, I got a new boyfriend.
     MY NEW BOYFRIEND. I won't assure you to be curious about this. Even I am not very enthusiastic about this. One perception about him from me: IRRITATING. God, he's so irritating! On the day he proposed me to be his gal, at first I say 'no'. But then he said things like; "well, you didn't like me, so what can I do... I'm not that good to be your boyfriend..." with a sad tone! I can't just ignore that! I sympathized him! Why ever am I so caring?! Oh my, now I'm stuck. I can't do anything than just stay with him until we really break up. Just one; I really hope that I will never love him. Ever!
     Second! MY FAVOURITES. Haha! I got some new favourite dramas and movies. And actors and actresses too. A few months ago, my friends tried to introduce me to a Japanese drama; Nodame Cantabile. At first I ignored them, until one day I tried to watch one episode via YouTube. Surely enough, it is so enjoyable! Full of excitement! And at last, my friend gave me the drama, specials, and movies. I've finished them, alright! And because of it, I'm getting more in love to classical music and pianos!~ <3
     Besides, because of it, now I'm a fan of Ueno Juri, the actress who acted the character Nodame! She is so beautiful~ For now I've watch some of her dramas; Nodame Cantabile, Last Friends, and now I'm on my way in finishing her latest drama: Gou~ Himetachi no Sengoku (Gou~ The Warring States of The Princesses)!

2012 Birthday~

Hullo! Sorry for being late updating my posts. I've been busy these days. And right now I'm typing from my school's computer lab! Tehehehe~ (Hope u don't mind)
   Okay, now I'm going to tell u about what happened along the days I didn't update my posts.
First of all, i'm going to tell u about my birthday, which was on 5th June. Well, is it fun? I don't know. Nothing so special about it. I was not at home on my birthday and my younger brother's (6th June).
And my dad... Not with us. He was working along that week. And my mom also. Pity, huh? But, u know, we don't mind about it so much. Me and my younger brother were used to it since we were young kids. So, it was not a prob.
   However, after me, my younger brother and our youngest brother got home with our mom, it was a very relieving moment. Do u want to know why? Haha, like normal kids, we were also admiring internet so much! I was thinking to update my blog that time, but u know, I don't have so much time to do it. Plus, we got only one laptop at home, so everybody fight to use it. It's hard to have turn to use the laptop. =_=''
   On Saturday night, our dad got home from Kuala Lumpur. And he got a surprise for me! He called me to go downstairs and said, "Your birthday present is on the dinner table, so come down and get it!" Without a second thinking, swiftly I went downstairs and get my birthday present. Huhu~ Excitedly I brought my present upstairs and into my room, on my bed. But I still didn't open it until a few hours. Oh yeah, I've said "thank you" to my dad and gave him a thank you kiss on his both cheeks.
    After a few hours, I tore the green present wrapper carefully and stared at the present admirely. How shock! I got two series of Harry Potter books! I got The Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hollow. Right now I've finished The Half-Blood Prince and I totally can't wait to finish The Deathly Hollow! Thank you so much, my beloved dad! I love you!

I really had a bad emotion yesterday~

My Maths paper is a completely disastrous!

What I'm hoping now is I didn't fail the subject.

Truly,

I didn't expected to pass it,

But if I passed it, it's more than enough.

Whether I'm going to be kicked out of the school or not,

That wouldn't matter.

I don't care about that school anymore.

I am not interested with the subjects they offered,

which are Pure Science subjects.

Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.

Whenever my Pure Science teachers teach my class,

My mind was not with me.

I will be thinking about somebody,

Or remembering my favourite movies or stories,

Or getting some brilliant ideas for my novels;

which I only give to my juniors and friends to read.

Honestly,

I like what I did to my novel!

And almost everybody who read it gave compliments.

But still,

If I'm good with literature and languages,

what am I doing in this school?

I'm not suits with my former school, I know.

But really,

If not because of my former school,

I wouldn't have met my now best friend forever,

Nur Ain Miratasha Johari.

And of course,

I won't let her go.

I won't leave her until she told me to do so.

I'm so stubborn, eh?

Well, I don't care.

If we didn't defend what we want,

Then we will never get what we want.

What a freaky me today!

Okay, my mom got an iPad from my uncle in America.

Well, it is quite a beauty, even though I hate white color.

But it is so modern and impressive!

It got a game called SIMULE Magic Piano,

and I can't stop playing it everyday!

It got so many of my favourite Symphony songs,

such as Aria by J.S. Bach

and Fur Elise by Beethoven.

Enough of that, I want to talk about something else.

Next week I'm going for Mid-Year Test!

I haven't cover up anything yet!
